Congratulations to our veteran Penguin Saahil Bansal on his phenomenal performance at Golders Green Rapid Play last weekend!

After finishing 2018 on a high note by taking 2nd place in U14 years old London Finals, Saahil started 2019 with the biggest win of his chess career.

Saahil started the event as 21st seed but won Golders Green Rapid Play Under 170 Grade section with 5 points out of 6 games. He showed an unbelievable 1964 FIDE ELO performance and 186 ECF Rapid performance. You can see the standings from the tournament here.
